LINCOMYCIN CAPSULES 500MG

Indications:

Linomycin capsules are a type of lincosamide antibiotic, mainly used to treat infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, etc.

Contra-indications:

It is prohibited for those who are allergic to lincomycin or clindamycin.
Patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction need to adjust the dosage and regular monitoring of relevant indicators is required.

Adverse Effects:

Gastrointestinal reactions: Common symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In case of severe diarrhea (such as pseudomembranous colitis), the medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention sought.
Allergic reactions: Skin rashes, itching, and occasionally anaphylactic shock.
Liver function abnormalities: Long-term use may lead to elevated transaminase levels.

Drug Interactions:

Avoid using in combination with anticholinergic drugs (such as neostigmine), as it may aggravate the symptoms of muscle weakness.
Using in combination with opioid analgesics may increase the risk of respiratory depression.

Precautions & Warning:

If severe adverse reactions occur during medication or if the infection does not subside, you should promptly return for a follow-up visit to adjust the treatment plan.

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Pregnant women and lactating women are prohibited from using.
