Indications:

The main component of Lansoprazole Enteric-Coated Capsules is Lansoprazole, which belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors. The mechanism of action of these drugs is to prevent the key steps in the production of gastric acid. By inhibiting the function of gastric cells in secreting gastric acid, they achieve the effect of reducing the production of gastric acid.

Contra-indications:

People who are clearly allergic to the components of Lansoprazole Enteric-Coated Capsules are prohibited from using it. Such allergic reactions may include rashes and breathing difficulties, and in severe cases, they may even endanger life.

Adverse Effects:

Allergic reaction: In rare cases, allergic symptoms such as red rashes and itching may occur. If these symptoms appear, the medication should be stopped immediately.
Blood system: Occasionally, conditions such as anemia, decreased white blood cell count, and increased eosinophils may be observed. Thrombocytopenia rarely occurs.
Digestive system: Digestive discomfort such as constipation, diarrhea, thirst, and abdominal distension may occur. In some cases, abnormal liver function indicators may be present, which requires close observation. If abnormalities are detected, they should be dealt with promptly.

Drug Interactions:

1. Accelerate the absorption of acetaminophen (a common fever-reducing and pain-relieving drug) to enable the drug to reach its maximum concentration more quickly.
2. Reduce the concentration of theophylline drugs (often used for asthma treatment) in the blood, which may affect the therapeutic effect.

Precautions & Warning:

1. It is recommended to take the medicine before meals, as this will enhance its efficacy.
2. As there are currently insufficient research data to support the safety of long-term use, it is not advisable to extend the medication period without professional guidance.
